grabbed an eight a.m. tram directly to alta via cham. one gate in mineral basin. found one major difference on sun. morning -- some big wet slides had come down the chamonix chutes on south facing baldy sometime late sat. afternoon !! which made getting to sugarloaf pass a little more interesting climbing over these slides with skis on . no major damage to the snow pack ! went right for yellow trail and high notch on backside - the entirety of backside had gew balled up except for a few slots underneath eddies high nowhere. hit east greely quarter inch of the dreameist cream corn known to man- around the shoulder all the way across to greely hill absolutely no one to be seen anywhere not even skinning up the hill . (alta the way it should be) greely hill was perfect at that hour facing directly east into the sun. the eight a.m. tram made the whole difference as far as quality facing east !!! back to snowbird for more that whole lap took one hour to be at the tram base where i started . gun sight gew balled up side to side - but thirds stayed gew ball free down to piss pass. back up the tram out to gad two chair . two laps out there it was so nice !! by now other patrons had started showing up for morning trams . for the most part they ventured into mineral basin away from living the dream . about ten fourty five i arrived at hidden peak via m.b.x. chair and headed for the summit of baldy alone by the time i arrived on baldy summit there had to have been fourty people marching up that traverse six to seven min. behind me all going for l.t.d. - skied l.t.d. out to sugar cliffs back to m.b.x. ( repeat that exact run again ) .. (smooooth perfection) skied a peruivan gulch back down to the road - with a slight varience of a mid baldy facing due west down to the baldy flats as perfect as l.t.d. . and yes it was slightly better sun .morning than sat . skied a few little cloud chairs in there to ho hummmm

After :brick: at them about their lift operations before, it's only fair to =D> this move by Snowbird. Spring weather has enough variation that the corn hours vary day to day with weather as well as by exposure. So lift hours should NOT be unduly restricted (attn: Mt. Bachelor!).
