Short on time so just a few words and pictures
A-Basin on 3.27.09
Arrived at noon, snowboarded from 12:30 till close.
warm and soft snow in the Montezuma Bowl, a little more hard pack left and right of the lenawee mt lift.
fun times on I70 after the storm
Heading up Arapahoe Basin's Exhibition Lift
Found some day old powder around the trees bottom of Montezuma Bowl (right side in picture)
Brek 3.28.09 as others said, cold at the top, windy day
Early Groomed Runs were soft and fast
Looking at the windy top of Imperial Express, decided with some guys on the lift we should hike above the lift
Looking up at my hike, took 15mins, no pictures up there as it was cold and windy, not really worth the effort
3.29.09 Vail
I found just about every type of snow at Vail.
I know I spent time in blue sky basin, skied lots of bumps in Heavy Metal.
Vail is so big, I just skied around all the back bowls and a little on the front side after a late lunch.
