Well, you can say that the Basin actually made money today... Perhaps some orthopedic surgeons will make some decent money today as well from that zoo!

Oh and for the record, Loveland opened up one run at the valley exclusively for ski racers on Oct 17th as well. Loveland must have made the business decision this year that racers will pay more for early season than the marketing blurb of 'first' is worth. Last Wed as Switchback trail opened, Loveland still had nearly the entire lower half of the public run (home run portion) at the Basin to make snow on...
