Another nice day. A little warmer than Saturday.

But in the morning.....
There were very strong eaterly winds along the ridge top. This situation is a little unusual since most the prevailing winds are westerlies. Not warm winds either. The winds were about a consitent 35-40 mph with gust in the morning up to 50mph. I am about 6-2/200 and was being BLOWN UP Wolverine Bowl and Alpine Bowl at the tops if I did not tuck. When combined with fragments of grooming (ice balls, flakes, whatever) pelting your face .... it was time to move to other areas despite the nice snow. The lowever 3/4 was not affected by these winds at all.

The winds kept all the off-piste from softening. Only southerly and westerly exposures were decent. The groomers were very nice.

Skied Sherwood, Lakeview and Scott in that order after the Summit ordeal. Perfect timing. Went back over to Roundhouse/Summit in the mid-afternoon. The winds had died down and the skiing was excellent.
Overall, I primarily was on groomers but areas like Our Father were soft throughout the day and Scott Chute softened nicely by 1pm.
