Tody started put pretty nasty. I started at the Albion base area with a friend skiing his first day (ever). I headed up Sunnyside and then to Sugarloaf. Took the traverse over to Collins and tried what I think was east greely. It was BAD. Big frozen mogus and about 5 inches on top. After that I headed over to Supreme and found some soft snow, in areas under and to the skiers right of the lift. I met up wit my friend at the rope tow finishing up his lesson. We ate lunch and given what the conditions were like I told him I'd help him out for an hour or so. Man, those rope tows are tough on your arms. At about 3pm he took a break and i headed put determined to find High Rustler. Well 30 minutes later I was standing at the top of it, wow, what a view. High Rustler skied pretty well. It was all soft moguls, but the best snow I found all day.

Looking forward to some new snow and better some local knowledge tomorrow. (ignore the spelling errors, I wrote this on my phone at the GMD)

A few of us were up there this afternoon, too. My post will follow shortly. Backside (aka East Greeley) would've been a really bad choice today, so I can feel for your situation. Move things slightly more north-facing on Backside, such as Gunsight, and it skied rather well. Again, a separate post should follow within the hour.
