NOAA predicted an inch..we got 12. And it was dumping when I left.
The excitement for the day was getting cliffed out on Catherines. I ended up too low and had to ski across a rock face with a deadly drop.
I made it but when I looked back there was a woman and her kid on the other side of it.
The kid was freaking out..dont blame him.
I had to side step up around another drop to get to a more open area.
I waited there..talking to her about a way to get over it..I could barely see them but saw snow falling down the cliff and her trying to calm him down.
I waited a while but soon couldnt hear them any more.
I decided to call ski patrol..no signal.
Skied down to Alfs through a huge field at the very border and called patrol.
They went to sweep the area. Then I skied around and got to the patrol shack at the top of

Boy she was lucky we were at the same spot at the same time...very freaky.
Left at 2:15..knew the road would be a mess..it was.

This week is making up for those 80 degree days in the Salt Lake Valley last week 😶‍🌫️

I skied Alta on Apr 1, Snowbird Apr 2 and Brighton Apr 3. Great snow at all three places. Today I gotta rest 🤘

I can't remember the last time I was at Brighton at 430PM. That place draws quite well for night skiing. The ticket window was mobbed.
