Hellllo Utah.

After a few day search for a place to live, (which I did find), that left Thursday with some extra time before the fam arrived in town for the long weekend. Figured I might as well drive up the canyon to see what snows Alta remained. Ended up hiking up to Baldy Shoulder and knocking off some turns. Boy was it smushy, but whatever, it was a beautiful day and nice to be back on snow after a week off.

The 4th Grizz was in town and we made the last ditch effort to get up to Snowbasin. Had never been up there so, it was quite nice. We were buying some tickets to ride the gondola when channel 2 accosted us for a brief interview. We obliged. As is shown in the pictures below. They ended up airing it and we got a picture of it on TV but they haven't posted it online. Also got a picture of the general race area. Grizz figure 11'ed it his last run and sprayed the announcers with some dirty snow, good thing he was the last one down because the snow spray killed the sound system and they had to stop announcing. Whoops, how was he supposed to know. Anyways pretty fun day, and a great time at the band at the bottom.

Hope to see some of you Utards on the hill soon.

Where off Dimple Dell Road? I'm a 1/2 mile south of where 10600 ends at 2000 E/DD Road. Skidog is a hair south and about a mile west of me.

Admin: I keep telling you, Sandy is where all the cool people are gravitating. Buy a house already! Ivory Homes has just about completed the show home in their new development across the street from me.

Edited to add: And Admin's friend Todd is just a little further south and west, but still within 2 miles of me.

Here's what it looks like......
It's on a 20K sq ft lot (~1/2 acre) and looks to be on the order of 3800 sq ft., maybe more (there's an entire story you can't see in the photo - the land slopes away behind the house as it's partially built into a hillside). I'd guess they'll put an ask on this one at around $550K - $625K

Right across the street from the park headquarters. Big long switchbacking gravel driveway. Pretty cool that you guys are all in the area, I didn't even know!

Oh. That place.
What with the big switchback, not easily seen from the road, and kinda obscure entrance, I always figured it for a polyg homestead.
