Today, Alta skied like two totally different mountains. Backside and Glory Hole were all beat! Sluff had pretty much taken out everything, and the areas you could find some fresh lines in were only 4-6 inches deep. To say the least I was disappointed, considering they were reporting 13 inches of snow. Then I decided to head to Old Reliable. Now I bet there is a section of Alta that already had this name but I consider the Baldy Shoulder area above the Wildcat chair to be the zone that always has the deepest snow. Sure enough, once again it did and it did not disappoint. Ended up doing about 6 Wildcat runs before I had to head back up to PC, where out of this entire storm we picked 3-4 inches at best. This storm was a real weird one. Didn't dump much in BCC, about 15 inches at Alta and 24 or so at the Bird not to mention about a foot of snow on the entire Salt Lake Valley. Just weird...

I don't suppose my last video had any influence on this one :-D The first run in the video (Baldy Shoulder?) looked unbelievable. I wouldn't be too disappointed!
