alta/snowbird ski bus

I have a question about the UTA ski bus going up little cottonwood canyon-

in sandy, can you hail it anywhere along the route, or does it only stop at the designated stops on the schedule? thanks

My understanding is the latter. And while they try to maintain the schedule, it goes out the window when the canyon road is moving slowly, up or down.
