Day 18: Whew! I'm beat.

Just had no energy yesterday. Couldn't get into the groove. Found good snow, though, for the wind was, as Bobby Danger says, "on auto-groom" and kept filling in tracks on west-facing terrain like West Rustler. Found gorgeous untracked, too, on Greeley Hill. Backside was nice wind-sift. But I had no energy. Took an early lunch at 12:30 pm and never got back onto the hill. Not much else to report.

no brakes required - auto groomer was on high yesterday west rustler first three runs not a ripple in the snow more than two inches. tower ten traverse wasn't present on the side of the hill in the morning. no need to check speed in the middle of sweetness! fairly good size group first thing in the morning seven out ofthe gate pretty much at the bell . skidog & i headed to the bird - regulator johnson proper from behind the summit building down through the trees out into the wide open smooooth to the flats- (but that run was done in pretty flat light ) american fork twins was creating clouds & very isolated weather events in old reliable bowl & pipe line bowl out around to whoopies. did acouple of runs back to alta for lunch . met back at g.m.d. at one with the others. acouple of runs in alta after lunch back to snowbird. clear myself through the taliban checkpoint at sugarloaf pass . now it's sunny on the ridge noflat light full on vissy. out to sugar cliffs amazing buff out at the cliffs. still some cloud being formed off of the east twin rolling down into powder paradise ( much more limited weather event now ) . arrive at hidden peak via m.b.e. it's sunny on the peak slide to the gad valley side of hidden peak regs in full on sunlight (pure electricity to the flats ) pure smooooth in full on vis to me is as good as knee deep any day. back up the tram down the peruivan gulch side ( silver fox ) smoooth with a little bit of baby powder to kick around . no more trams it's three fourty five back to alta for the main course !! up collins chair of course now west rustler is in full on sun at four p.m. thirty minutes to close ok directly back to where we all started smoother than the first three runs in the morning now in full sunlight i had to do one more couldn't resist .

It's not easy to keep up with a report like that. I hope I skied myself into better shape this weekend, but I have my doubts.
