Day 8: Supreme
The lift, not the skiing. The skiing wasn't bad, mind you, but with this week's addition of the Supreme chair just about all of Alta is now open, save for Catherine's Area and Devil's Castle. The big hangup for Saturday was visibility -- you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. A couple of inches each of the past few days has added a dense layer of snow atop everything, making the skiing smooth and creamy on most aspects. Bob was the only one skiing, and as he went to work for a few hours in the morning we hooked up just after lunch for a couple of hours.
