Day 13: Cruisin' with the Mrs.
Mrs. Admin and I went up to Alta yesterday afternoon to cruise Sunnyside for the "Free After 3" program. That of course meant mellow green and blue cruisers, but we racked up a half dozen laps of soft groomed to carve, loading the last chair right at 4:29 p.m. We then sat on the Albion beach with some fresh brew from Alta Java. It was good to get her back on snow again.
Supreme opens today for the first time this season. The three of us will be in Park City, however, as The Kid is in town and I've got a couple of free tickets over there. I'll post a report this evening. There's a storm moving in today, expected to leave a foot by tomorrow morning followed by another stronger impulse Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning, so we'll have a pair of powder days in Little Cottonwood Canyon for the weekend.
