Day 49: Wind-blown.
I left work Friday morning to take a break with a few runs at Alta, first with Tele Jon and Skidog, then with Pat and her friend Colleen. After two runs with the boys, I was ready to pack it in. I mean, if I wanted to ski windblown crud I would've moved to Mammoth or something.
I went inside to take off my boots, but first opted for a chocolate croissant and coffee, during which Pat and Colleen walked in and I was talked into going out for another run. We found where the snow had been deposited: Thirds. And Greeley Hill. And Greeley Bowl.
Then it was back to work for me.
