Well, as I'm still waiting here to try to drive down the canyon I might as well get this post prepared. Today was amazing. It snowed at 3 inches per hour virtually all day. Each run was better than the last and after the road closed afternoon, the ski area turn into a ghost town. Tomorrow should be even better, after the lake effect kicks in tonight.

7pm and I'm still in the Wildcat lot.

Edit: 725pm and I'm still in the parking lot. I give up, gonna crash at the Cliff tonight.

Was also at Alta on Sat. Good storm skiing, but the temp dropped from 21 to 9 by afternoon, and the wind chill was -9.

Leaving was a zoo. I left GMD for the first time at 4:45 pm. One hour later I had made about 200 yards up the road to the Peruvian, when I turned around and went back to GMD. Had a drink and sat by the lobby fireplace until 8:30 pm. Took about an hour from there to get down to SLC.

Wow. WOW.

I ran into some Steamboat friends who were staying at the Peruvian. I love the Peruvian :)
...And Lisa and John for staying there!
