Day 41: Soft 'n fluffy.
I skied for 90 minutes beginning at 10 a.m. today. This allowed 4 laps on Collins -- two Baldy Shoulders, and two Greeley Bowl/Greeley Hills.
I was supposed to meet Telejon at 10 a.m. I was there, he wasn't. My first two runs were therefore spent alone. I arrived shortly after Ballroom/Baldy Shoulder opened following yesterday's 6" of 3% pixie dust atop a still-soft base from last weekend's snowfall. Armpit was positively wonderful, as was Greeley, which had been barely tracked. And there was zero competition as the Wildcat lot was barely one-third full.
Jon arrived around 10:45 and we reversed the process - Greeley, followed by the Shoulder. I then returned to work.
However, the storm of the season (thus far) is now moving in -- we should be measuring 2-4 feet of new by Monday.
