Day 32: Damned cold
Not a debilitating one, mind you, just one that makes your head explode. Sinuses kept me from getting a good night's sleep, so I was pretty tired when I met up with everyone at GMD this morning. Tired enough that by noon I was done.
It was a great morning, though. Ballroom/Baldy Shoulder stayed closed all day yesterday, and we got to the top of Collins right after the gate opened. We scored two runs -- an untracked down Harold's, and a lightly tracked down Ballroom proper. Most of the snow fell during the day yesterday, so while everything else was wonderfully soft it was tracked out with an inch or so of new on top. Susie's Trees were fun before we headed out to Spiny Chutes, where you could still hit the crunchy bumps underneath. We went back over Sugarloaf, and I took a cruiser down Mambo/Main Street to call it a day while the others headed for Wildcat.
I'll see if I'm feeling any better tomorrow.
