Day 58: Five inches.

It was enough, actually. Dense and heavy, it filled in old tracks nicely on Backside, Ballroom and Greeley Bowl. It was enough to hide the sun crust on west-facing Catherine's Area/Patsy Marley.

I went up for a couple of hours this morning. I was surprised by the crowds for a Friday. Bumped into skrad suffering through a week-old case of the crud, saw no one else. Thank heaven for singles lines. Legs were strangely tired even though I haven't skied since last weekend. Sunshine was beautiful and warm after the morning flurries pushed out.

Now I'm a little disappointed. I mean trip reports from the future could be pretty useful.

Reminds me of an old Steven Wright joke: "I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time." So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance."

Ironically I just heard that on the radio up here earlier this week...
