started at alta with amy and admin this morning as usual . skied with them till 11:30ish , then down to snowbird. didn't have high expectations going over , but let me tell ya it didn't take long. was windier at snowbird than at alta, the five hundred more vert. makes a difference. the wind was coming out of the south , so the upper cirque and silver fox side of hidden peak was a deposite zone for everything on the wind , and the wind was moving some snow around , especially into macaroni chute. upon arrival i took the peruivan chair to the top , still assuming only groomers available to ski . well snowbird had opened up great scott for skiing through rats nest gate , pool table smooth with two inches of wind sifted sugar , with very few making the trip down through upper executive usual trees (rats nest gate) out to great scott , skiing those trees right now would be impossible even for the most achieved skier !!!!!

Available terrain off the Tram is Regulator Johnson and Chip's Run only
I guess that's only a suggestion...

11 out 85 trails and a 29-inch base makes it sound bad. Local knowledge and no skier traffic goes a long way.

snowbird didn't have the regular silver fox gate open off the summit ridge , they instead had it moved up to tower four of the tram. it's to bad i didn't stop and take a picture after skiing the elbow in macaroni looking down silver fox ,exceptionally smooth with four inches of wind sifted sugar ,down through lower rock chute (which has a mandatory four foot air right now until it fills more)!!!!!!!!!
