It has been a cold week in AK. Single digit cold. With that old has come gradually firmer snow conditions, mitigated by a six inch fluff storm yesterday (still could feel the bottom except on flatter terrain). Today's 3 inches should have sweetened things further, but there was extensive wind damage that made the powder more challenging.
Nobody here. And the low sun angles really bring out the relief on the surrounding mountains.
Had an amazing tour Monday up Crow Creek Road/ perfect snow. And going cat tomorrow. With at least 3 inches expected should be very nice. And the cat should be warmer than Chair 6.
