I hit Attitash Saturday with my nephew for some free skiing. He took his board and headed for the pipe. I went in search of ungroomed and bumps. I never found what I was looking for. Every trail was ribbed with corduroy. The open trail listing at the ticket window said that Tim's Trauma had bumps but it lied. So it was a day of fast cruising. All of the trails had good packed man made with the middles getting scrapped down to the hard icy base but the sides held up all day. Most of Attitash is covered and about 2/3 of Bear Peak is open. Guns were blowing on Kachina and Grandstand. No lift lines all day and not much of a crowd.
