Bachelor for New Year's?

Wondering how the crowds are up at Mount Bachelor at New Year's?

In Tahoe the crowds can be unbearable for the holidays. I've had much better luck in Salt Lake at Snowbird/Solitude...

Considering the 8-10 hour drive north vs. the hoards in Tahoe.
 
I skied Bachelor last year during Xmas -New Years.. Crowds were no big deal , especially this year since they have the whole mountain open.
 
Bachelor is one of the best places anywhere for early season reliability while avoiding the Christmas crowds and price gouging. And it's currently loaded with snow per Schubwa's last TR. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10399 The caveat is always that weather keeps Summit shut half the time in winter and if you're unlucky that could be your whole week.
