Well, we hit that one good. After a quite stormy early January, we arrived in Nelson, BC in clearing conditions. After a quick heli ride up to the lodge, we settled in for three great days of riding.
I was up with a group of 15 gents mostly from Bend and a few over from Maui. We hooked up with Heath and Lanny as our guides 'cause they ride decks and most of the guys do the same.
The deep southern Selkirk snowpack and steep terrain will keep us smiling for a while!
The ice cold Kokanees are never far away.

I hope my experience at Chatter Creek Feb. 3-6 is as good as this. FYI there are a couple of last-minute openings on that trip if anyone is interested.

Larry Schick says the cold weather is preserving powder in Crystal's backcountry 5 days since the last storm.
