The 12th Annual Bear Valley Telemark Festival is brewing in a small alpine village nestled at 7,000 feet in the Central High Sierra Nevada Range of California. Get ready for the most celebrated freeheel event on the West Coast this February 8-10, 2008.

I really liked my trip to Bear Valley.

But as a telemarker and Bay Area resident, I just cannot seem to escape clinics/demos at Alpine Meadows and Kirkwood.

It's habit, and the proximity to lodging/firends/etc.

Generally, I frown on this type of stuff/posting, but you guys are bit of California circa 1970s that time forgot. Good and bad. Like Reagan was a governor, not a president. But you need support.
 
Keith nice to hear from you, quite unexpected. You and Russ climbed the Leaning Tower (correct?)

ChrisC - I agree that commerical posting are a drag and that Bear Valley is a funky place. It's a good funk though.

On another note we are getting absolutely dumped on this past week or so. The resort is so uncrowded that I skied for couple of hours today and hardly crossed another track. Like I said ... its a good funk. :wink:
