WHAT A DAY!
got up early to get first chair to hit the park first thing before it got
icey........and cause i had to get back to do some much needed studying.
then i planned to head over to Moonlight since it was openning day over
there with all fresh snow. that never happened. i ended up jibbing this
wall ride all day pretty much. we hiked the one jump they had for about
an hour then hit the wallride the rest of the time. SOOOOO much fun. i
got addicted to it. learned a switch fs 180 to boardslide to 180 off. nailed
it. snow was hard and fast today too. temps were suppossed to be in the
upper 30's. i don't think they got to 30. seemed rather chilly when i
stopped hiking. oh well. also, the $10 day on friday killed the moutain.
not to much pow pow left. the tram never opened either. "technical
difficulties". the terrain was set though. patrol had done thier job to open
up the tram, as they were planning to.......(Liberty Bowl only. i think), but
the tram had some technical problems.
so at the end of the day, the ritual PBR pounder at the picknick tables and
then started to drive home. notice i said "started". got down to the
conoco and my friggin radiator blew up. had to call AAA to get towed half
a mile. that took an hour and a half. the hitched back up the hill to crash
at a friends place. luckily, his buddy who was there was driving to
bozeman and i ended up getting a ride back.
so much for stopping at 2:00pm so i could com back and study. yes, i'm
a geak. finals coming up and the jeep in stuck in big sky. who knows
when that'll get fixed. probably a good week before i get that thing back.
oh geez! and i have pics!
