got a ticket. drove up and parked at MLB. hked straight to the challeger lift. this was an attempt to beat the crowd. we ended up getting about the 30th chair. :lol: it didn't matter though. challenger was holding about a 36" base. BRT rode like a champ until about 11am. four solid runs right off the bat. almost threw up. (getting over a cold still) :wink: lunch time. mellow powder run down rice bowl, crazy horse, and the ganje line. still plenty of face shots at 1pm. almost face shots. back over to challeger for a couple more. hike down to run about 50yrds. TOO rocky. liftline rode well. minimal skippers. then one more run down crazy horse at about 2pm. tracked out, bumped up and legs are done. groomers were hardpacked and the cattracks turned into pure ice. one more run and back over to the car. worked! best opening day in my life!
oh, it snowed hard until about 1:30 so every run was like a fresh one. my buddy grabbed his camera, but forgot the memory card.
no pics. visibility was low too.......for pictures, not riding. this is the kind of day a lot of people will tell their grandkids.
