Does anyone know where I can find a good list of Boardercrossevents in the east? I've onlt found about three in NH and VT put together.

the only thing i can give u is loon in nh has shut down a major trail off their hsq as of wed morning and spent 8hrs w/ 4 groomer on the clock on wed day constructing what must be a majorboarder/skiercross course/comp. i've never seen them do this at loon.. i assume the comp is this weekend coming up... i jumped the rope ( see above loon rpt ) at about 3:30 on wed ... it's pretty wild looking in there i must say

waterville has a fun boarderX. i used to race there, and they set up a pretty fun course. i never did any boarderX's at loon. i remember that sugarloaf in maine used to have a boarderX course set up to practice on ? years ago, but i don't think it's there anymore. i'm guessing that most of the bigger resorts do have boarderX comps. you just have to check the dates. if you're interested in a series then look into competing in the USASA circuit, or series(whatever they call it). there's a membership fee the first time you race in a USASA race, but it's only a one time thing. then you just pay for the races you go to(and your ticket). it gets to be expensive, but if you got money to spare, then go for it. i don't know to much about the USASA thing. sorry. there's a link on the waterville snowboard site for "USASA". good luck! <BR>oh, USASA is U.S. Amateur Snoboard Association.
