I had a chance to ski Bogus Basin for most of a day on a business trip to Boise, ID. (30 minutes away).
It's a complex, decent-sized mountain with varied skiing over a few faces. I understand snowfall can be a little erratic, since it sits at the edge of a desert. However, this year was strong early on -- and most was sticking despite a very warm March with temps in the 70s in the valley. The south facing steeps had already burned off, but east/west/north exposures were still good.
For a local hill, I was pretty impressed overall.

I started with some groomers in the Deer Park area immediately in front of the base lodge. Short fun runs with a HS Quad.
Boise in the distance
South side steeps burned off
I quickly headed over to the Pine Creek area since it faced East and was softening. I really like the glades, steeps and 1800' vertical served by its own HS Quad. Could really crank in some quality vertical in the sector.
Not a lot of cut runs. More do it yourself.
At the end of the day, I skied the north facing Superior face. This is area was primarily steep high speed groomers. There were some nice woods up high.
Fridays were not too busy. The groomers held up well until late in the day on the north side.
