I skied powder today. Not a lot, not for very long, not bottomless, but powder nonetheless. Tuesday a.m. should be good. Could be very good, but for sure at least good. About 3-5" so far, much of it blown in to the trees, which is okay by me, but underneath that the ice doesn't just lurk, it screams it's menacing presence. Still, the woods are a whole lot more entertaining than yesterday. Plus, I haven't seen this intriguing a forecast for quite a while
