Breaking news: ASC to sell The Canyons

Trust me, if you saw what they're building at DV you'd know that Talisker is not exactly cash-strapped.

My youtube video was in reference to ASC. I don't have any opinions, good or bad of Taliskier.

Not necessarily. Talisker's hardly among the typical list of ski resort suitors.

Well, given the soon-to-be-dissolved ASC's financial history, they're better off with just about anyone. Time will tell, though. Talisker apparently has deep pockets, although they're privately held so their balance sheets aren't available to view. Their clear focus to this point has been real estate development, and I expect that to continue with this holding as well. Not that that will change much at The Canyons...

I predict an expansion of The Colony that will put 10,000 square-foot trophy homes all the way up to the top of 9990.
