Picked up about 1" or 2" the night before
Mostly sunny all day long and it warmed up nicely to around 30*

Took the gondola up to Rockey MT Super Chair at 9am
Hung out in the peak 7 and 8 areas for an hour or so, nice blue groomers were ride'n fast with a little fresh snow on them they started to soften up quickly

Made it over to Chair 6 to connect to the Imperial Express Super Chair by 10am. Hit solitude then lower bone yard Riding was spring like all the way down to the E chair.

By 11am chair 6 had wait times of about 10mins.

Had some lunch at the Peak 9 Restaurant around 12:30pm

Hit the Peak 9 area and Peak 10 for a few more runs, then took Four o'clock run to skyway skiway to return to our condo.
Trying to save the legs for Vail on Monday.

Had some lunch at the Peak 9 Restaurant

Peak 9 Restaurant is one of those unique stories. It's privately owned on an old Mining claim in the middle of the permit area. Vail Inc of course, would love to put their own place up there instead. Plus the owners are ex racers so I try to eat there if possible on a Breck day.

Spectacular weather day today for sure. Total chamber of commerce day.

thanks for the info EMSC, the food was really good at the Peak 9 Restaurant.
Also thanks for the Vail info, I plan to use that on Monday :P

Yet it fails to explain the uninspired fare at Alta in Alf's, Albion Grill or Goldminer's Daughter, all of which are independently run. We often dine at Rustler Lodge for that reason. If you've got some coin to drop and want something special, Collins Grill upstairs at the mid-mountain Watson Shelter is exceptional...and independently operated.
