base is 60" upper mtn. 6" of new reported. that's a powder day (this year).
a little more than that up on the ridge(8-10"). temps in the high 20's to low 30's.
partly cloudy.

got in line at 8:30. lifts start running at 9am. lot's of people
already there and a whole mess of people behind us as well. woohoo!
6" :!: we got the 20th chair or something like that.

the snow was real light and fluffy off the ridge, and once
you got down lower, you could tell that the snow was a bit heavier. it did a
number on the legs......since it was all bumped out by 11am. welcome to
bridger. it was all about the ridge laps today. CHOO CHOO!! that's a
train noise for the slow folks to step aside and let others pass. we got
stuck behind a line of about 20 or so people hiking up the ridge(3 times).
they didn't get the point of what CHOO CHOO! meant. oh well. by the 4th
hike i was not really in a rush anymore, and the 5th one was just one for
the books. we rode the north boundary area (hidden gully) and the south
boundary area (george of the jungle?; next to colters) and 3 different
lines down bridger gully. the ridge was all done after today. all bumped
up again. didn't help being a holiday either. good snow for today
though. still really boney in the steep stashed area's. although we did
drop some cliffs, it was not the smartest idea......not knowing the terrain
like the back of our head. still getting core shots pretty easily. the
coverage is good for xmas coverage........but wait, it's almost march!
another day at bumper bowl.

i got a few pics, but they won't be developed until i use the rest of the film.
sorry folks.
