Skied the upper mountain all day. Enjoyed the mild temperatures, and very good snow conditions. The cruisers (Willoughby, East Bowl, Dipper, Carriage Road), were in fine corduroy condition early, and held up well through the day. The ungroomed slopes had a few icy spots in between bumps, but for the most part the bumps were soft and forgiving. Up until Noon, still found some 1'+, dry, untracked turns in the glades at upper elevations (Volkswagon), though it was like slamming on the brakes if you went into the untracked mashed potatoes lower down. Good coverage in the glades (Jungle). Snow grains started to fly about 2:30 PM, wind picked up, temperatures and visibility dropped.

Skied almost to until last chair, and had a great day! It's a slow quad ride to the summit, but there were virtually no lines; never waited more than five minutes (and the locals were whining about the lines!). This is a fun mountain with much varied terrain. Definitely refreshing to have so many bumps and glades options. The bar in the upper lodge has a nice old-fashioned, relaxed apres-ski atmosphere. All around, it's like turning back the clock 20+ years for New England skiing like it used to be. Highly recommended.
