First time ever at Burke. Got to Mid-Burke about 9:15. Still lots of empty parking lot. The report said 4-5" of snow over night. I had heard good things about East Bowl so I tried that first. It was groomed and I was disappointed. I though they left that trail alone? Nice packed powder though. It was my first run on my CMH's and I need to find the pow to check out the phloat phactor. Next was Dougs Drop. Moguls top to bottom with a nice sustained pitch the whole run. Lots of powder on top of some crusting moguls underneath. then it was Wilderness, Ledges, Fox, Lew's Leap, and Boarder Line. All ungroomed natural mogul trails that rock. Lots of woods off of Wilderness too but I was skiing alone so only a few times in there when I saw others go in. Small lift line at the quad all day. Nice retreat from the crowds. I'll be back.
