BW, Killington Both Open Tomorrow. Who's going?

So, who's going to Bretton Woods tomorrow? Killington? Either of them anytime this week? joegm said in another thread that he'll be at Killington tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm opting for K on Thursday along with my son, to give them some time to add additional cover and to try to avoid the opening day zaniness (I don't want my kid to become road kill). Anyone else? Anyone? Bueller?
 
I'm trying decide what i'm doing. I was originally planning to hit k-mart thursday morning or something like that and ski mss saturday and stay with friend in montreal. But i just looked up the directions to killingotn again and decided maybe thats not the best idea. It's about a 4.5 hour drive from here I for some reason was thinking it was less. I could switch things around and opt for a thursday trip to mss if their open and hit k on saturday with the school but I'm worried about the crowds.
 
I'm planning on being at Sunday River on Thursday and Saturday. From their cam shot today it looks like they made decent progress overnight.
 
i'm tentatively braving the crowds on thursday. will be there early for first chair and leave when things get too nuts for my liking. will post further details as the date approaches and plans are confirmed...

Looks like I'm gonna wait until Saturday when either Hunter or Belleayre (or both) open. Don't mind skipping the 3 1/2 hour drive from home since the open terrain will be mellow. Have a blast!

I'm hoping B.W. will open and close again so I can skin up this friday or saturday.I'm wierd,so what.

negative. and i no longer have my college ski team jacket to make me easily identifiable :D will you have any FTO paraphenialia on your person? i'll have a dark blue spyder jacket, black ski pants, orange boots and volkl skis, but that's a lot of people. oh yea, cannon sticker on the helmet ;) i'm sure if i go we'll eventually bump into each other (hopefully not literally!) if you don't plan to catch first lift.

Well, I'll be dragging my wife & kid along, so catching first lift is always in question. The only thing I'm ever early or on time for is skiing, but she's always guaranteed to make us late.

The only FTO paraphenalia on my person will be helmet stickers. I'll probably be on Salomon Scream Pilot Hots (the CMH Edition Völkl Explosivs are distinct, but will probably stay in the truck -- I envision little use for a 99mm-waisted ski unless I just want to test-drive 'em), with orange Garmont Adrenalin boots and the bright yellow jacket and black pants that you see in my avatar. Like most folks, I suspect that we'll spend the bulk of our time on the North Ridge Triple.

St-Sauveur, St-Bruno and Bromont should open something like wednesday. No news from Woodbury !

I wouldn't have think that Killington would open before MSS !

Too bad I can't ski midweek :(

Saturday = MSS for me !

Snowmaking continued on Risky Business and Ecstasy throughout the day today and will stay on Risky all night. Guns are now running on Cascades and Thataway and more will open on South Ridge later tonight as the temps drop.

Look for a 2 pm opening Tuesday! Check the website or sign up for a Sunday River snow report by scrolling to the bottom of the home page.

2pm?? That means that they'll be open for 2 hours. I mean, why bother until Wednesday? SR and Killington are both ASC areas after all.
 
Yeah, but they will push 2 ski areas on the same opening day... the 1st in the east.

Check out for St-Bruno tuesday night, I wouldn't be surprised to see them open. If so, St-Sauveur will do the same I guess ;)
 
Hey guys.

I'm going to Killington on thursday afternoon and Okemo on friday.
 
We got some weather moving in for Saturday. As of now it looks like snow for the mountains, I might be back at cannon sat. morning?

PSS not as much snow this weekend, maybe 7 inches that the tops of the mountains
