Can ski season be far behind?

Check out the attached Whistler Mountain webcam image from 5 pm PDT last night. That same system is expected to drop 2 to 9 inches above 8,000 feet here tomorrow night. The Kid and I may just be forced to recreate last Oct. 4's tomfoolery:

Oh my gosh! Both pairs of skis are in the shop! I better call and find out if they are done. Then I have to sell my damned house, load all my stuff, and get my butt out there! I'm sooooo jealous.

I'm debating whether or not to head up for some goofball turns. See below from this morning.

Weird weather gets weirder - we're now getting pea-sized graupel at the house at 5,000 feet. It's not sleet, and while it looks like hail there are no thunderstorms in the area, so it can't be hail. It's 42 degrees.

Bizarre.
