Lots of avalanche activity in colorado this year. Though I'd post a couple of the latest.

Tonight an avi on us40 over berthoud pass from winter park caught several cars.

And then a mortar blows up inside the launch tube during Avi mitigation just past Loveland Basin... So now Loveland Basin (the good part) is closed for the day while the Valley (beginners/racing trails) is open. I'm really not sure how that works exactly. The Seven Sisters area is past the curve where the Basin parking lot is, but not close enough in my experience to ever affect the resort operations. 9" new reported by Loveland which is what CDOT was blasting.
