Mostly a picture TR. Warm, but no snow turned to spring, not even in the base areas. A bit breezy up at very top but not particularly windy. Had a friends 50th Bday that evening in Dillon so got some turns in for 4-5 hours with the Family. Shockingly, big lines only at very base area lifts and not all that bad on I70 either.
Snowpack is still quite thin for mid-Feb on S facing Copper Bowl and lower mtn terrain. Upper mtn N facing is better coverage (eg top ~1000 verts). Far more elevational snowpack than is usual for Colo central mtns (it's always elevational, but dramatically more so this year). Still getting regular storms in Feb though (unlike Dec/Jan). 9" on Thurs/Fri at Copper before this trip. Surfaces were nice & soft.
