Cost of a rope tow?

I was talking to a Killington employee and he said that Killington purchased a rope tow from the town of Woodstock.

Does anyone know the cost to buy a rope tow? Approx.

It seems the worst part would be installation.

No idea about the cost, but can we hear more about Killington's purchase? Can you go into the context of your conversation? Of course Woodstock is where lift serviced skiing in the U.S. started.

I spoke with the terrain park manager. He said that the rope tow was purchased for the half pipe on bear. This seems like a good idea to ease bear traffic. He mentioned the glading done between the trails on bear. He just said that Killington was giving better funding to the parks.

Nothing really news worthy if you have seem the new map.

Thanks for the link. That just rocks. Imagine having your own Poma or T-Bar for a little private terrain park or bump field at home. My family owns a Cross Country ski area in PA called Wilderness Lodge http://www.thewildernesslodge.net That would be rocking to drop one of these in on one of my tucked away places to have for personal use.
