Delirum Dive...

Was at the 'shine yesterday with the hope the dive may open, but after watching it get bombed harded than iraq, the bowl was blasted pretty much down to rock. Big slides, multi-fractures, deep crowns shows how scary the snowpack is. <BR> <BR>Don't think delirum will open for some time... <BR>just looking at pictures from last year & remembering what an epic year it was

The dive will not open again this year unless we get some crazy snow real fast. How long was it even open for, like 3 weeks? <BR> <BR>Last time I looked at the snowpack a few weeks ago there was thick depth hoar at the bottom, a lot of slides are stepping right down to this layer. When temps get warm I would stay away from the backcountry.
