Woke up to a dusting of snow at my house Saturday morning, May 18th (elevation 1650 ft). I was psyched, drove up to the top of Bloss Mountain on Route 15 in North Centeral Pa, and there was nearly 1/2 a foot of wet heavy snow (elevation 2365). Went home got skied and headed to Ski Denton in Potter county. 600 verticle feet of hiking and I was at the peak with just 3 or 4 inches of snow left by 1 PM, and almost no snow at the base. I skied it top to bottom, the wet grass on the lower half was slow, but I skied it! It's still flurring today here at my house (Monday May 20th at 1 pm).
