Discount New England Day Tickets

Would be interested in hearing about any deals that popup throughout the season on day or multi-day tickets anytime anywhere.

Last year I noticed unpublicized coupons offered as an insert in my Verizon phone bill (2 for 1) and AAA auto club for Wachusett. Ragged Mt. offers discount tix vouchers for sale at ski equipment dealers in Mass. and NH.

Harvard Pilgrim HMO claims to offer discounts on day tix to Wachusett, Killington, Hunter Mountain, Jiminy Peak, Loon Mountain, Mount Snow, Mountain Creek, Pico, Waterville Valley, Shawnee Peak, Sunday River, Sugarbush and Catamount. Through workingadvantage.com (which your employer may be affiliated with.)

But what I'd really like is any heads up on big(ger) NE mountain discounts.

Thanks!

I know about http://www.slidingonthecheap.com/ but I want to take it down to the next level, those deals that are buried down in organizations many of us may belong to and not even realize!

Interesting thread, Bill. Anything that comes across my desk via press releases, etc., I'll add here.

Anyone else out there?

Pricechopper supermarkets are running a deal for 3 tickets for $99 at Jimminy, Gore, and Pico. Or 3 for 129.00 at Killington, Whiteface, Smuggs. Limited time only. These tix also allow for $20.00 buddy passes. There are only a few restrictions. This is a very good thread. Let's keep mining out those deals!!

Yup, Scott ... we just published the story today:

http://www.firsttracksonline.com/news/stories/104058708924725.shtm

Bill-
Don't know of any coupon programs, but if you can ski during the week, Cannon's two-fer days (Tu & Th) are great deals.

Wildcat also has a two-fer day (Wed.) Doublechecking Wildcat's info, I was surprised to see the "ski free on your birthday" deal. Too bad mine is in August.

http://www.cannonmt.com/LiftTktRat.html
Cannon Specials
>Tuesday & Thursdays - 2 for $40
On both Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2 adult lift tickets for $40.
February 18 & February 20: 2 for $45!
Not valid on December 26 or 31, 2002.

http://www.skinh.com/resorts/wildcat/wildcat.htm
Wildcat Mountain Extreme Values:
Two-fer Wednesdays (Non holiday)
2 people ski or ride all day for $52/$26 p.p.

Birthdays
Ski for free on your birthday, ID required. FREE

Bretton Woods also has a Wednesdays two-fer deal; and a free beginners lift for all ages. BW offers a $12 Sunday noon-to-closing ticket that is restricted to local residents of northern NH (Grafton & Coos Counties, I think) & Vermont's NEK; drivers license required for ID. It's not listed on their website, but I confirmed the $12 deal with a ticket seller in late Nov.

http://www.brettonwoods.com/alpinerates.html
Wednesdays, (excluding Holiday Periods*), Two Ski or Ride for $49.
NEW LEARNING CENTER QUAD LIFT -- complimentary (all ages)

(excluding Holiday Periods*), Two Ski or Ride for $49.
