Sorry, no pictures on my first ever ski report. I gotta get a new camera...
So, at 8 AM I found myself awake and unable to sleep more. Annoying because I'm gonna be working all night tonight.
But anyway, it is a beautiful day here on the Front Range and Eldora was in fine form. It was about 40 degrees, not a cloud in site, and I felt maybe one gust of wind the whole day...
They got a bit of snow yesterday (probably about 4 inches) and everything was nice and soft while we were up there (from 10 to 2). It was starting to get icey as we left as well as a bit crowded. I didn't wait more than a minute for a lift all day.
Quote of the day (from an 'Eldorable' ski student): "Right next to my poles." In response to "Where did you leave your skis?" from an instructor.
And with that, I'm going to try and catch some sleep so I can get through the next 4 night shifts... An excellent way to pass a President's Day weekend if you ask me.
