Late 11am start after a couple of long work days late in the week. Shocker - it was windy, though less so even by early afternoon. Wind was a good thing though as temps must have hit around freezing mark. Been a lot of warm spells this year. Of course it didn't help the excitement level going back to Eldo after 3 days of big powder in Tahoe.

Primarily hit my usual suspects - placer glade, west ridge, moose, Salto, with one lap on Powderhorn to finish the short day. Wife made it down West ridge once. Skiing was better than expected (given the very low snowfall the last several weeks in Colo). Fortunately ~6-8 inches fell this week including wind loading over in the far lookers right (basically my usual suspects runs). So nice & soft and even a few turns here and there of untracked snow.

One guy we rode the lift with said Wed was a foot deep on those trails. Of course he was slamming a beer and talking about hiking and skiing OB by himself the very next run over by Lost Lake (really, ) as he was saying the snow was great on Wed. I think that would be referred to as 'character' or stupidity. One of those two. Anyway with a million errand to get done and hopefully a Copper day trip Sun, we were done by ~2:45pm.
