I am going snowcat skiing at purgatory on 3/10, and while there was a lot of fresh snow recently, this week is supposed to be temps in the 40's. I am concerned as to the potential snow conditions, however with 35,000 acres I am hoping for at least something good. I am hoping for north-facing recycled powder, is this overly optimistic? If no maybe this will stabilize the snowpack and allow us to ski above treeline terrain. Overall, I am just a bit anxious. I'm sure TOny Crocker will have an opinion about this, what can I expect?
