Fernie and Alta!

It is the year to Ski Fernie this winter! I just returned from week of 5 feet of new snow! they have over 20 feet of snow at Fernie so far at end of Jan!! this is my second year here and will now make it a yearly ski trip. We have visited to many US resorts known for Powder and feel that Alta and Fernie is a good choice.

When the temps stay low, Fernie is a winner. We just arrived at Castle Mt., across Crowsnest Pass from Fernie, and hope to get some more pow.

Just got back from Kicking Horse and Panorama. They got pretty decent snow the whole week, a little less than a foot, which is good for them. Everyone was talking about Fernie though. Next on the list, but boy....a lot of driving to get around, some of it downright insane!!!
