What's up the reporter sounding like Truman Capote
I will go with answer 1. Those mics are accurate enough for a human voice. They won't drastically change the quality of a voice as they are designed well. The amount of mid-range boosting required to change a person's voice would have to be done post-production. Furthermore, bass roll off doesn't change a voice, but merely accounts for ambient noise, i.e. room noise etc. Attenuation generally reduces all frequencies evenly. :wink:Marc_C":30e1677i said:1.
