How does one fill a little box on a computer with a whole summer's worth of events -- especially in words.

It's not easy. As it comes to me, I'll add more and more, but here are some pictures to relay the gist of it.

I didn't know Mt. Rushmore was in Glacier National Park???

All kidding aside...

Nice shots!!!

Who's that girl???

Knee surgery? Was it related to your well filmed crash in Tuck?

Were many glaciers left?

I barely saw a patch of snow when I was in Glacier NP last summer 2006....well maybe....but nothing impressive. More like snow remnants.

It was a little lacking than the name Glacier NP.

JSpin informed us about a year ago that the Glacier National Park name was somewhat of a misnomer as those mountains have been completely free of glaciers several times in the recent geologic past. Given altitude, temperatures and precipitation in those mountains relative to other areas of the West, this does not surprise me.

Not to take anything away from the Whitefish area. The 20 minutes of clear viewing I saw from Big Mountain in 2003 shows that it's an outstanding year round recreational area.

I thought Whitefish had gone a little upscale by 2006.

My time was spent in Telluride in the mid 90s where there were more shitholes, than $1m homesteads. Underwear was more common than designer lighting out front.

But Whitefish? I do not know where you go to get $500 rooms?? I assume Montucky extends around the lake....but you are not in town.

I makes me sad. There really are not any ski towns left.

I would recommend: Rossland, BC; Golden, BC....maybe Schweitzer. SLC burbs.
