Good place in High Uintas for picnic next to a lake or pond

I'm going to Park City in August. I'm being joined by a relative who has some physical challenges. He can do an easy relatively short hike. Was thinking of taking he and his wife for a picnic somewhere pretty in High Uintas. Hopefully closer rather than farther from Park City. anyone have suggestions given my constraints?
 
The most developed site is Mirror Lake, which should have some accommodations for your friend's disability. Probably about an hour from PC.

I don't know, maybe he is in this to promote the website in his signature? On any other board, it'd be unnoticed but this one works so well in terms of sticking to meaningful content that it made me wonder, too.

But he is agreeable, I'll give him that.
