i was beginning to think that there was no skiing left in the cottonwoods from the lack of reports. some guys that i know went back up to tux today, and although much shorter, tux looks to have much cleaner, smoother snow. figured we'd see something from you soon enough salida.

way to get it. if the sun comes out, i may do one more day in tux, mainly to make turns under the pretty waterfalls.

I've gnabbed turns in the uintas and the winds in the last few weeks. Both better snow but w/o this morning comraderie

figured you'd be gettin around. make us proud! i may be going to chili at the end of august, but if the surf keeps up like this, i may reconsider.

i may be going to chili at the end of august.

A lot of "mays" for end of august/early september. It might get crowded down in Chile. I'm no "may", got my plane tix.

ya, i'm a total "may" kinda guy and have said "may" to south america skiing many times. once i ski on good snow into july here in nh and continue my 4 season streak, i'm happy to just enjoy a short summer/fall to start skiing in late november. we'll see, my buddy is supposed to arrange this trip. i don't feel like doing it and he's gone a bunch of times. if all i have to do is plunk down a couple of grand and go, that's how i want it to be.

I wasn't talking about you specifically, but I'm hearing left and right from people I know that don't write on ski forum and some that do thinking about SA this summer. I don't recall hearing some many "may" go....or maybes before.

I think that's cool that so many people are considering and even thinking about it this year. The last few years, the maybe were virtually nil.

Mt. Fuji had more snow than that on July 29, but I did not bring skis. :wink:
