Made the trip from Park City to the High Uintas just beyond Mirror Lake on the Mirror lake hwy (48 miles from Park City) on Tuesday. I started out about 730 and meet my friend, a former guide in the high sierras in Samak (thats Kamas spelled backwards).
This a quaint mountain valley enclave about 5 miles up the Mirror lake hwy towards Evanston Wyo from Park City.

Hayden Chute in the shade from mirror lake hwy.

Charlie making a turn on the "backside" NE aspect of the chute not visable from the road. This side looked longer about 2800 vert from the topo maps and from the naked eye.

Myself about a half of the way down

from skiers left of the apron the rocks are impressive above rising about 2500-3000 vert ft straight up. Not a great spot to be in the winter as there was alot of slide debris visible.
The approach was through alot of punchy rotten snow and creeks. I was on snowshoes with my gear on my back which was a slough. I will be purchasing some AT gear and skins soon. Great area for backcountry
